I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers who made the Rainbow Coast Carnival in Bremer Bay such a success. To those who worked behind the scenes and on the day, our water safety crew, first aid team, record keepers, AGMs and Assistant AGMs, and everyone who packed/transported gear, and quietly kept things running, thank you. Your hard work is the backbone of this event.
Thank you as well to all the Albany members who came along and gave everything a go. Every single one of you contributed to Albany SLSC taking out the carnival—what an achievement!
We also can’t forget the parents. Thank you for supporting your kids—getting them to Bremer, setting up camp, feeding them, making sure they were sun-smart, and cheering them on every step of the way. Your support makes days like this possible.
And a very special thank you to Bec Stephens for coordinating the carnival. It’s a mammoth job, and she did an absolutely fantastic job pulling it all together.
