Patrol Update: Season in Full Swing
As we dive into the patrol season, most of our members have already completed their first shifts. A big thank you to everyone who has been proactive in organising swaps and filling gaps. Your commitment ensures our patrols run smoothly, and it’s great to see good attendance across most teams.
A Few Important Reminders:
- Notify Your Patrol Captain: If you are unable to attend your patrol, please inform your Patrol Captain (PC) and ensure you’ve organised a substitute. This avoids any last-minute shortages, which we’ve had a few close calls with recently.
- Packing the Shipping Container:
- Remember, the container is shared by multiple groups, including patrols and water safety teams.
- The buggy should only contain its designated first aid gear and a board on the roof.
- Consider how you pack it—others may need quick access, especially as we approach the busier part of the season.
Uniforms:
Please ensure you are wearing current SLSWA patrol uniforms. It is a condition of our affiliation that volunteer patrol members wear the current SLSWA uniform. If you require an update or you are missing any uniform items, spare uniforms are available in the container. For further information, contact your patrol captain or Dani on 0437 411 557.
Thank You!
Your dedication to covering patrols and maintaining your skills doesn’t go unnoticed. Let’s keep up the fantastic effort as we move into the peak of the season.
Stay safe, and see you on the beach! 🌊
For any additional questions or updates, please reach out to your Patrol Captain or Club Administrator.
