All participants of educational courses will be advised of their pre-course swim assessment requirements and be required to attend for this session to complete these.

All children aged 5 to 12 that wish to participate in Woodside Nippers must also complete a Preliminary Evaluation. See below relevant information:

Preliminary Evaluations

The Preliminary Evaluations are in place to ensure that participants are fit and able to meet the requirements of the Woodside Nippers Program.

The evaluations consist of a swim/glide and survival float component which may be conducted at the beach or in a pool. For more information go the Woodside Nippers website:

Age groups will be allocated specific times, so that there is sufficient time to complete assessments and provide information to parents and our nippers for the coming season.

These times will be available closer to the date as our Nipper Coordinator, Megan Downes is busily working out the best schedule for all.

Entry costs will still be covered by Albany SLSC.

▪️Nippers will need bathers, towel and goggles
▪️Enter through the SIDE DOOR near the spa/first aid room.
▪️Please assemble as directed to meet your Woodside Nipper Team
▪️All Woodside Nippers will receive a FREE Woodside Nippers uniform, including a high-vis vest; age group skull cap; wide brim hat; and mesh sling bag.
