Albany Surf Life Saving Club invites you to register for this year’s Albany Harbour Swim.

Easter Saturday – 30th March, 2024

Age Categories: Youth (up to 14 years) | Adult (15 years+)

Minimum Ages: Parents or guardians for swimmers under the age of 18 must sign Event Waiver & Terms Forms for all late entrants accepted on the day of the event. Minimum age for swimmers is 12 years (on the day).

7.30am Race Start

4 km Princess Royal Harbour – from Princess Royal Sailing Club to Peace Park Albany

Open to Solo swimmers (Open Water and Wetsuit Divisions), Duo and Quad teams.

Registration for TEAMS – 5.45am and SOLOS from 6.00am at PRSC

TEAMS BRIEFING – 6.15am. Swimmers 2, 3 & 4 boarding boats at 6.30am

SOLOS BRIEFING – 7.00am

Sea Rescue and Surf Life Saving craft will patrol the course for safety of swimmers. Paddlers MUST wear a PFD.  All swimmers are to leave the water at completion of their leg.  Cutoff for all swimmers will be 9:30 and strictly enforced.

As a participant of this Open Water Swim event, you enter at your own risk. All participants remain covered for Public Liability however, entrants are encouraged to have their own personal insurance.

All swimmers will receive an event swim cap which must be worn for the duration of the event.

Early Bird pricing of $50 Adult/ $40 Youth per entrant until midnight 17th March.

Standard pricing of $60 Adult/ $50 Youth per entrant until 12pm on 29th March (online registration close).

Late entries on the day will only be accepted for SOLO swimmers (not duos or quads), before 7:00 am at $80 Adult/ $70 Youth per entrant.

No Refunds. Upon cancellation of event (weather, pandemic etc.) entry fees can be transferred to following years event.  No refunds for change of mind or no-show.  Your registration fee contributes to the community programs provided by Albany Surf Life Saving Club.
