Volunteers are essential to the delivery of the Woodside Nippers Program — from beach set-up and pack down, to water safety, the BBQ and kiosk. The program simply doesn’t run without the support of our families.
When every family contributes a small part, the workload is shared fairly, and we avoid placing ongoing pressure on the same group of volunteers. This helps protect against burnout and ensures we can continue delivering the program at the standard our kids deserve.
Each week, a different age group is rostered to assist with set-up and pack down, and another group supports the kiosk. In recent weeks, we’ve found it increasingly difficult to fill these roles — particularly in the kiosk. When rostered positions aren’t covered, it directly impacts how smoothly the morning runs and places added strain on a small number of people.
Please connect with your age group and ensure your allocated week is supported. Many hands genuinely do make light work.
