Thank you to EGSLSC for hosting the regional qualifier, it’s always fabulous to visit and the club refurbishment is fabulous. ASLSC kids had a great time. It’s always fun to hit the beach with our EGSLSC and DSLSC friends.
Conditions could not have been more perfect for competition on Saturday and there were some outstanding performances. All the ASLSC nippers showed great determination, sportsmanship, and team spirit, and should be incredibly proud of your efforts both in the water and on the beach. A number of our Woodside Nippers have qualified for the state champs, and we will post full results soon.
Special thanks must go out to George Downes and Celia Waugh for assisting with officiating, the parent and sibling support crew who helped out with water safety, catching goggles and delivering lolly snakes. Thank you also to Jason for warming the team up and timely advice.
Our Nippers joined in on the EGSLSC Nipper Session on Sunday and had a great time – hearing new voices and doing different things – like floating in a rip and jumping off rocks.
