The Bicentenary Swim is a special one-off ocean swim event to mark Western Australia’s 200th anniversary in 2026. Held at Middleton Beach, the swim invites locals and visitors to be part of history with a community-focused event that celebrates Albany’s coastal heritage and its role in the State’s story.
Open to swimmers of all ages and abilities, the Bicentenary Swim is about more than competition – it’s about connection, reflection, and being part of a once-in-a-lifetime milestone for Albany and WA.
