More than 120 outstanding young members from across WA were recognised for their achievements at Surf Life Saving WA’s (SLSWA) annual Nipper & Youth Awards, presented by the Scottish Masonic Charitable Foundation of WA, on Saturday 17th May.
Over 300 guests, including SLSWA Chief Patron, His Excellency, the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, Governor of Western Australia, gathered at this year’s event to recognise and celebrate the achievements across various areas, including lifesaving, surf sports competition, and volunteering.
ASLSC had two clubbies receiving awards. Congratulations to:
Zach Riddell who received the Nipper Club Achiever Award. This award is presented to an outstanding nipper member (U10-U13) as nominated by their club, in recognition of their achievement in the areas of individual safety, surf awareness, lifesaving and surf sports skills, within the Woodside Nipper Program.
Oliver Pass who received the Youth Club Achiever Award. This award is presented to an outstanding youth member (U14-U17), as nominated by their club, in recognition of their achievements and commitment to the areas of lifesaving, training, leadership and surf sports.
A huge congratulations to William Schupp who is a finalist for the Youth Official of the Year!
