This coming Sunday will be the last one at Middleton Beach before the Rainbow Coast Carnival & Development Weekend on 22-24 November (book your accommodation for this NOW).
Come on down this Sunday to put your Surf Rescue Certificate and Bronze training skills to the test! A reminder as to what our standard Sunday looks like.
Sunday Timetable – Youth & Seniors
- 7:00-7:15 Arrive & Setup
- 7:20am Briefing
- 7:30am Start!
- 8:30am Club Swim (Finish)
- 9:00am Nippers
- 10:30am Packup
Please arrive early from 7am to setup your gear on the beach, warm up, or lend a hand to help set up the beach arenas. We will conduct a quick session briefing at 7:20am and finish the program with the Club Swim at 8:30am. Then your chance to get dry, have a sausage in a bun, and get ready to join the Nippers support crew at 9am – there’s so many ways to help out … try your hand at officiating, arena assistant, age manager assistant, water safety both shallow and deep and more. SRC’s please check your wet session program times with your trainer.
Bring:
- Goggles – expect to swim every week!
- Boards – club or private
- Thermals / Wetsuit / Rashie
- High vis vest
- Competition Caps for Youth
- Towels/Warm Clothes/Hoodies – bring to beach
- Sun protection
- Water bottles
