The Little Nippers State Championships were held at Sorrento Beach on the 7th of March. Albany had a small team of 2, Amaya and George, and they both did amazing well.
Amaya came 17th in the surf race swim out of 130 and 18th in the board race also out of 130. She also did well on the beach in both the sprint and flags. George came 8th in the surf race out of 130 and did well in the board race and flags.
Well done to both of our amazing little nippers, hopefully next year we can have more competitors at the little nippers carnivals, there are 3 carnivals throughout the season.
