We are getting close to being able to announce our Age Group Managers and Age Group Assistants for the 2024/25 season.
Thanks to all who have offered to volunteer in these roles. We had lots of volunteers for some age groups and none for others…it is a challenge but we are feeling very excited about the number of parents and member to volunteer this year. We most certainly need your support!
There is plenty of ways anyone can support the programs we deliver, so if you havent been allocated anything yet.. never fear.. there are many other ways you can contribute to the club!
So, we still do need volunteers to ensure the season runs smoothly and we can deliver the Woodside Nipper program efficiently each week. These include;
Sunday Roster Coordinator – managing canteen, BBQ, setup and pack up roster.
Communication Coordinator – newsletter updates and other communications.
Comps Coordinator – promoting and managing competitions ASLSC Woodside Nipper members may attend over the season.
Age Group Recorders
Water Safety – Nipper Rescue Certificate and Nipper Adult Assistants. The 2023/24 Nippers Rescue Certificate (NRC) award is valid until the end of 2024. We will run NRC sessions early in the season to update qualifications and introduce new parents to water safety. Nipper Adult Assistants (NAA) assist in shallow water and certification is not required, NAA are absolutely essential to delivering our program to our smaller members.
Youth Age Group Managers – there are still some age groups that would love to have the help of a Youth Member! Drop us an email if you are interested.

The season will kick off with the Nippers Proficiency Swim to be held at ALAC on the 27th of October. Age groups are split into two sessions detailed below;

The season on the beach will commence at 9am on the 3rd of November and run through to the 16th of March, with our last day being the ASLSC Club Championships.
