| Our kids need you! With pre-season training already starting to hum, and the season calendar all but locked in, NOW is the perfect time to step up and into a rewarding volunteer role focussed on the development and connection of our emerging young lifesavers. Help open doors to the huge range of opportunities available to u14 – u17 youth members, including all leadership, lifesaving, surf sports and education pathways offered throughout the season by Surf Lifesaving WA and Albany SLSC. A Youth Coordinator is being sought to take on the youth@albanysurfclub.com.au club email for season 2026-27, working closely with the Surf Sports Team Leader, Sunday Coordinators, and Coaching & Competitions Team to help deliver the annual program of activities, and promote participation in available youth development pathways. The role will enjoy the support of our amazing Lifesaving, Education and Membership teams, and ASLSC Board of Management. So come and join the team! Key aspects of the Youth Program include: Club Activities on Sundays Surf Sports Training & Competition Lifesaving Awards – SRC (13-15yr) & Bronze (15yr+) Officials & Coaching Honours & Awards SLSWA Development Camps – TOAD & Rise UP Albany Youth Camp – help bring it back! SLSWA and SLSA also offer a range of tools and resources to assist with the both the role and your own development activities.
