What a weekend!
Congratulations to all our athletes who took the beach on Saturday morning for the Country Championships, Saturday afternoon for the beach events of the Country Carnival, and Sunday morning for the Ocean events of the Country Carnival AND to those ASLSC Woodside Nippers who participated in the Bicentenary Swim on Monday morning in either the 400m, 1.5km or 3 km division.
We have had some fantastic results (which can be found on Surftec) and some podium finishes – but most importantly we participated and had fun – along the way we collected a lot of points for our club – meaning – we won a flag!! ASLSC are the 2026 Fuel To Go and Play WA Country Championships (Most Improved) Handicap winner!! Each and every one of you have contributed to this result – congratulations!!
Well done to our Under 13’s who joined the Youth Pathways sessions held on Friday. It was so good to see you assisting in the arenas over the two Carnivals, gaining your Youth Official accreditation – those shirts look good on you!
To continue the carnival vibe – this weekend will be a points weekend!
