Skills Maintenance Final Date November 9 – Registrations now open
All awards will be available for the Skills Maintenance sessions on the above two dates, starting at 8am. You’ll need to register yourself to assist with logistics and planning. Please go to SLS Hub, login with your Members Area password, Applications, eLearning, Training event, choose the date then book your session (or sessions if you need powercraft too).

Mandatory Bronze eLearning in this year’s Skill Maintenance
PLEASE complete before requals – this relates to SRC holders too.
This year there is a national requirement to embed the new ‘Lifesaving CPR’ in our practice which is what the eLearning module is all about.
It takes about a half an hour.
This year’s requal is mostly dry, focusing on this new content. Members can not requal without the eLearning component, so…

Bronze and Surf Rescue Certificate Training
Thank you to all who have made contact and/or attended the proficiency swim. We have squads for both courses now (although it’s not too late to join) and your trainers will be in touch shortly to get things moving.

Provide First Aid (National course – HLTAID011)
On the weekend of November 22/23 – four hour refresher for proficient BM members.
Please indicate preference of am, pm or evening Sat/Sun to Jeff – 0403 789 746.
There will be other opportunities to complete the full award for those who have never held the certificate and/or do not hold a BM. SLSA has made this qualification free of change this season. Please give Jeff a text to seek further info or to register your interest for another opportunity.
Drone Training
