Last weekend saw lots of our members adding to their training portfolios with new awards and skills.
Starting Friday night with Pain Management course and the addition of the green whistle to our first aid capabilities and then the Silver Medallion Aquatic Rescue on Saturday where a squad of our new bronzies learned skills in rock rescue, victim recovery and search patterns.
The annual Trainers and Assessors update was held on Sunday morning and was well-attended by trainers from both Albany and Denmark. Again, a number of members joined in for an early BM requal and then some extra training to complete their Advanced Resuscitation Techniques award.
Congratulations to all who achieved new awards and thanks to all those who contributed in any way.
