AGM’s and AGA’s are essential to the delivery of our Woodside Nippers program. Their duties include ensuring the group’s safety and well-being, leading them through events or programs, and fostering a fun, supportive, and educational environment. They serve as a point of contact between parents, volunteers, and the club’s management.
Under 7 Age Group Manager – we are looking for an Age Group Manager volunteer. These roles are well supported with training and activity resources. No special skills are required – just a desire to provide opportunities to our future lifesavers.
Age managers:
• are responsible for the overall safety and wellbeing of their age group
• are responsible for facilitating the development of surf lifesaving skills from the activity guides, e.g., movement and surf awareness skills
• are responsible for facilitating the development of personal skills, e.g., confidence, teamwork, leadership
Age Group Assistants – We are still looking for Age Group Assistants. This is a support role to the Age Group Manager. This role would suit a parent or a youth member wanting to accrue volunteer service hours for competition eligibility (U15 and above only).
