2025 Albany Harbour Swim – Results

2025 Albany Harbour Swim – Easter Saturday 19th April.

Congratulations to all the swimmers.

In cool, overcast conditions with a light 5-knot southerly breeze, this year’s event saw a record 198 swimmers take part, cheered on by over 200 spectators in a vibrant carnival-like atmosphere. Three swimmers retired mid-race due to the cold, but no medical incidents were reported. Water safety, led by Albany Surf Life Saving Club, ensured the event ran seamlessly. Max Coeten set a new course record with a time under 45 minutes. The Club are thrilled with the turnout and are already preparing for an even bigger celebration in next year’s Bicentennial edition.

A big congratulations to our first male and female across the line:

1st Male Open water – Max Coten 44:57

1st Female Open Water – Rebekah Weller 50:25
