This week the Premier & Cabinet are visiting the City of Albany for Community Cabinet.
David Templeman MLA, Minister for Culture and the Arts; Sport and Recreation; International Education; Heritage and Rebecca Stephens MLA, Member for Albany watched the Nippers in action on Sunday morning at Albany Surf Life Saving Club and Life Member Celia Waugh enjoyed chatting to the Minister about her many years in the surf movement.

In our Great Southern, the Albany Surf Lifesaving Club has been a fixture of Middleton beach for more than a century – and it’s due a well-deserved facelift.
That’s why we’re investing almost $3 million to upgrade the club – delivering better safety equipment, and more space for education and events to support the club’s 500 members.
It’ll ensure ASLSC has the great facilities they need to look after the community for generations to come.
