Busy Bee – Due to the redevelopment proceeding, we need to vacate the building on THIS Sunday the 14th of January. We will have a busy bee with final move out on Sunday 14th of January 11am start after Nippers. Please HELP support the club for this move out. Most of the equipment will be stored at a shed at the Albany Port. Thank you to Southern Port Authority for providing the storage facility. We will not have access to this shed during the storage period.
Private Equipment & fob access – If you have any private equipment at the club it needs to be removed by the 14th of January. If you require access to the club outside of the office open hours, please get in touch with Simone. All fob access will cease on the 14th of January and these will need to be returned to be reprogrammed when the building reopens. Please return all fobs to the Dropbox near the front door with your name.
The inspection of the vacated building and handover to Smith Construction is on the 16th of January. Smith Construction will undertake the preliminary works in the 2nd half of January. The building will be fenced off in early February. It is exciting to have the project proceeding after years of work.
The project would not be possible without the funding support of the State Government, Lotterywest, City of Albany, Jack Family Trust and Albany Surf Life Saving Club. On behalf of the ASLSC, thank you for your strong support of the redevelopment project.
