Message from the City of Albany
Due to persistent easterly winds, substantial sand deposits have gathered in Ellen Cove, causing shallow waters around the pontoon.
To prioritise community safety, the pontoon will be temporarily removed on Thursday 14 December. Please note that the return date is uncertain, as it depends on ocean currents effectively clearing the sand buildup.
