The much anticipated 2023 Albany Surf Craft Challenge is upon us!!
All club members are invited to enjoy the spectacle this Sunday 4th June with craft races starting from 8am in front of the Albany Entertainment Centre. Online entries are still open to competitors until this Friday 4pm, with late entries closing Saturday (Boats) and Sunday (Skis). We are holding the annual 2km beach run after the craft races finish, with a bunch of new age categories and a $5 entry fee payable on the day – so get involved and have a go at a cash prize!
Come and grab a coffee and bite to eat at the club and help cheer the finishers over the line after over 12km at it!
If you would like to volunteer on the day or have some free time on Saturday for setup, please get in touch with Event Coordinators Nick Walker 0438 890 995 or Matt Wells 0417 182 493 and we can find a job for you – many hands make light work!
We have a keen contingent of boaties and paddlers making their way from Perth and across WA to enjoy our waters, our competition, and our company – please help ASLSC make them feel welcome on our home ground.
