The finalists for the 2023 Nipper and Youth Awards presented by the Scottish Masonic Charitable Foundation of WA have been announced. The Albany Surf Life Saving Club is thrilled to congratulate three of its own members, Sophia Riddell and Liesel Freebury, on their nominations for Nipper Club Achiever and Youth Club Achiever, respectively and Hamish Bowles who has been named Finalist for SLSWA Youth Official of the year.
The Nipper and Youth Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of young surf lifesavers across Western Australia, with categories including the Gold Level – Youth Leaders Program recipients, U14/U15 Athlete and Lifesaver, Youth Official, Surf Sports Champions, and Nipper and Youth of the Year.
The ceremony for the 2023 awards will be held on Saturday, 29 April, and the Albany Surf Life Saving Club is excited to be a part of this celebration of the achievements of young surf lifesavers across the state.
