Tuesday the 21st of February is the last Woodside Nippers Tuesday Training for the 22/23 season. To finish up our awesome training season we will have a sausage sizzle for the kids and burgers for our wonderful helpers. Hope to see you there!
Club Championships
Registrations for the Club Championships for Woodside Nippers, Youth, and Seniors will close on Wednesday, February 15th. The event will be held this Sunday, February 19th and will feature Swim, Board, Flags, Sprints, and Ironman for U8 – U13.
Nipper Rescue parents are welcome to assist with water safety. Join Dani for a briefing at 9:15am outside the main shed.
Presentations for the Club Championships will be made on the day of the event, and participants are encouraged to stay and enjoy some treats from the canteen while the results are tallied.

2023 Sunsmart WA Country Championships
The SunSmart WA Country Championships are a highly anticipated annual event that brings together country surf lifesaving clubs from all over Western Australia. This year, the championships will take place at Trigg Beach during the March long weekend, on Sunday 5th of March. Competitors from different age groups will showcase their skills and compete for the coveted title of Country Champions.
For the Albany Surf Lifesaving Club, this is an opportunity to shine and show their progress on a bigger stage. The club hopes to send four competitors from each division to participate in the relay events.

Calling Volunteers for the Woodside Nippers Wind-up
The club is currently seeking helpers to plan and organise the Nippers Wind-up for the end of the Nippers season. If you are interested in being part of the organizing committee, please contact Nipper Coordinator Megan Downes at nippers@albanysurfclub.com.au or by calling 0438421261.
As the end of the season is approaching rapidly, the club is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help make the event a success.
Woodside Nippers Swimming Training
The Nippers Swimming Training program is currently in the process of being organised for this year. Updates on training schedules will be communicated as soon as they are available.
Final Woodside Nippers Fun Day
The Club’s Final Nippers Fun Day is scheduled for Sunday, February 26th. This event marks the last day of the surf club as the club rooms are undergoing upgrades for the next season. Nippers and their families are invited to participate in the Fun Day activities, which will be followed by a busy bee to move all the equipment into storage.
This is a great opportunity for members of the club to come together and help with the transition while also enjoying the last day of the season. The club encourages all members to come out and participate in this final event of the season!
