Congratulations to our winners of the annual Smith Thornton Swim- Christine Murray & Ned Shepherd!
It was a closely fought race with plenty of tight can turns, lead changes and jostling amongst the pack, made all the trickier by a stiff NE wind turning the net to slop. Christine managed to hop across the line first overall on one good leg despite being hunted down by Ned and the other young guns. Great finish guys.
It was fantastic to see so many keen Youth & Senior starters on the day, with the all-new ‘Thanks for Getting out of Bed’ prize being awarded to 2-lap finisher Erin Miller.
