Bronze Medallion

This will be the last BM course for the year. Beginning with a mandatory full day first aid course on January 2nd. It is planned to complete the course within a week to 10 days, dependent upon participant availability. Candidates need to be 15 years old by the end of the course and have a swim proficiency of 400m in 9 mins.

Provide first aid HLTAID011

This will be the last opportunity to gain this qualification for free and the last time it will be offered this season. It is a full day course on January 2nd.

Recreational Skippers Ticket (SRT)

This is a free course to club members and will only be offered once this season on February 4th. This year’s course will be assessment only, so candidates will need to have some small boat handling skills and experience.

IRB Crew and Driver (Silver Medallion)

You are encouraged to pick up some new skills through these opportunities. We are always in need of patrolling members with advanced skills. The Crew certificate has the BM as a prerequisite and for the SMIRBD, candidates will require their Crew certificate and their SRT. A date in March (or thereabouts) will be selected to fit in with interested members.

It is essential to register your interest as soon as possible to assist with planning.
