The Department of Education is celebrating the 104th year of VacSwim this summer.
2022-2023 programs will be conducted weekdays at Albany.

Each year VacSwim is conducted with the assistance of the Albany Surf Life Saving Club, and this contributes greatly to the smooth operation of classes.
Similar to previous seasons, families attending VacSwim classes at Albany – Middleton Beach are requested to make a gold coin donation to Albany Surf Life Saving Club in recognition of the assistance provided to the program, for example, access to club rooms, storage of equipment and use of some club equipment.
VacSwim employs Water Safety Officers at surf and beach centres and offers this employment opportunity to club members or members of the public who hold a current Surf Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate.
