| We have completed our first points day of the season! A huge number (127) of our wonderful Woodside Nippers took over the beach and participated in sprints, flags, boards and the surf race. Weather conditions were kind (Albany kind that is) with a light south easterly and low swell. The U11’s swam the big string line for the first time – what an achievement! After the Woodside Nipper events were complete, 30 of our Nipper parents and carers undertook their Nipper Rescue Certificate with Les Paxton and Jo Lucas. Congratulations all round as everyone passed! There are NO Woodside Nipper activities on the beach this weekend as it is the Rainbow Coast Carnival at Bremer Bay. |
