| Beautiful warm sunshine welcomed our Woodside Nippers to the beach on Sunday – unfortunately the easterly came along too – whipping up some tricky conditions that weren’t able to dampen some giant smiles. This weekend was a skills day. All of the age groups practiced signals, with the under 8’s and 9‘s using their signal knowledge in games of follow my signal. The 10’s, 11’s 12’s and 13’s battled it out on boards in the water arena with some big sets rolling in. We tried out our new skills day format with 30 minutes in each arena, allowing time for practicing entries, popping over waves and paddling the course. Make sure you are ready to go this Sunday – meet at your age group flag at 9am with vest, age group cap and sunscreen. You can pop goggles, towels and wetsuits in your age group tub too! |
