Attention! We are calling out for a Youth Cadet Camp Supervisor for the camp to run this year!
The Youth Camp is scheduled for Friday 4.30pm to Sunday 11 am February 11-13th at Camp Quaranup. The camp is for youth U14 and older who have completed their SRC or Bronze.
Carl, who has been involved with the camp for the past six years, has taken on other duties in the club and it is time for a new camp supervisor.
The camp supervisor’s role involves coordinating and attending the camp. There is support from parents who help with camp preparations, supervision, and attendance at the camp, along with older youth who coordinate with Friday night camp activities.
The program and camp requirements are all set, along with support for a hand over and running of the camp. This is Ideal for a parent who have children at or approaching camp age to provide support and be involved with the camp.
Without a new supervisor the camp will not proceed. Note a Working With Children Check is required which is relatively straight forward, takes a couple of weeks to organise.
