The annual SLSWA Rise-Up and T.O.A.D. camps are important in building inter-club youth friendships. They provide opportunities for participants to develop leadership and interpersonal skills, essential to not only their success in surf lifesaving but also in day to day life. Participants also have an opportunity to obtain qualifications that will assist in their ongoing development towards being a volunteer patrolling surf lifesaver.

Best of luck to our Albany SLSC reps this week. We hope you have a blast and we look forward to hearing about your adventures when you return!

RISE UP: Angus Bowles and Jake Shepherd

TOAD: Hamish Bowles, Ned Shepherd, Solly Ellery and Harriet Martin

Enormous THANKS again to Janet and John Inglis for their ongoing support of our club’s young members. Every year the funds they generously donate to the club are directly invested into ensuring our young members can access youth development and leadership opportunities at local and state levels.

Thanks Janet and John!! We love and appreciate your community spirit and all camp participants are enormously grateful for the opportunity and support you have provided them.
